I tried to upload, install on 6.4.1, it bumped. Is there any fix to make it work?

Even after i install the REST API for Splunk 6.4.1 from splunk Base, its not parsing _json format.

Whereas , its working good in Splunk 6.5.1.

Any fix to make it work in Splunk 6.4.1 as well?

I believe they folded the app into the 6.4.x build and now you no longer install it separately:

http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.4.1/AdvancedDev/ModInputsIntro
http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.4.1/AdvancedDev/ModInputsBasicExample

Plus the splunkbase page for the app doesnt mention 6.4:

I have the same issue with JMS Modular Input. It is not getting installed for 6.4.x. The documentation mentioned in links provides direction on how to develop modular inputs with the REST API as an example.
