Discussion on Splunk Supporting Add-on for Active Directory

I currently working with LDAP logs. Found from splunk base https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1151/. For this configuration for this apps in Splunk Web, there is require to have access to LDAP server?

Or there are any suitable apps to analyze LDAP logs?

Really appreciate if there is any solutions that I can explore.
