Can someone tell me if when you change settings on a deployed app in your deployment server if the changes are propogated to the servers the app is deployed on or is there another step needed.

Hi @marcusmartin,

when you modify an app in the Deployment Server, the app will be pushed to the destination clients when it will be its turn in the rotation of checks that the Ds continously does.

If you want to force the update, you have to run the following command

./splunk reload deploy-server

I hint to read the following documentation: https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.1.0/Updating/Aboutdeploymentserver

Ciao.
