Connection invalid - Splunk DB Connect 3.1.0

Hi,

Facing a unique challenge in the DB connect App. All connections (Oracle, Sybase IQ) are displayed as 'invalid connection' in the DataLab->SQL Explorer tab. But when the same connection is used in SPL, data is retrieved from DB as expected. I have tried to create new connection and the same issue is recurring. Please advise. Configuration of the App is as below.

alt text

Splunk Version 6.6.2
Splunk Build 4b804538c686

Splunk DB Connect App Version 3.1.0
Splunk DB Connect App Build 19

JDK version
openjdk version "1.8.0_102"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_102-b14)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.102-b14, mixed mode)

Looks like you’re using an openjdk not the Oracle JDK as required in the doc.

Thanks,
Tyler

There are no logs in the splunk_app_db_connect_* files though the logging is set as debug in the configuration page. The error from SQL explorer is attached with the main post.
