I have installed the Website Monitoring app on my Splunk Cloud instance, accessed and saved the Configuration page.
I still cannot see Website Monitoring as an input type under Settings > Data Inputs.
If I try to use the Create Inputs page in the Website Monitoring app, I get a message "! 1 input was not created"
I note the new feature in v2.7 that prevents inputs being created on a Search Head Cluster. Is this what is preventing me from creating inputs on Splunk Cloud? We have a heavy forwarder that sends data to Splunk Cloud, but it is inside a network that does not have full Internet access. I wanted to have Splunk Cloud poll sites outside of our internal network.
