Can I use the SQL server with free Splunk?

I am using splunk free in my organisation (presumably to test things). How can I use SQL Server to import data and create dashboards?

Splunk DB connect is supported on latest free version of splunk with limit of 500MB per day.
so install and setup splunk db connect app and fetch database data using sql query.
