How do you perform base searches within this new dashboard beta? Is every visualization an individual ad-hoc search?
@Kendo213 , base and postprocess searches are not yet supported in the beta. As of now, all searches are individual ad-hoc searches. Keep an eye out for upcoming releases of the beta (and release notes) to keep a look out for new features!
from my conversation with the developers of this feature at CONF, the base search functionality still dosent exist in the beta
Thanks - I was assuming you could create a child of a data source that was transforming, but I couldn't get anything to work.
Hopefully it makes it in the official release.
