Hello I have a server that previously would work to send out SMTP messages. The Trigger history under alerts shows that splunk reocignizes that the condition was matched and it found something. However no email comes out.
I checked the Skip Ratio and it was 0%. I can't figure out why the server isn't sending out emails anymore. If i use the same SMTP server on another splunk box, that server works perfectly. so it's nothing wrong with the SMTP Relay server.
What are some things i'd check? I have a feeling it's something with the server. I have a script that set to fire off the same time as the SMTP, the script works and aligns with the triggered history.. it just SMTP isn't working
