Is it possible to get direct notifications in the Android Splunk Mobile App?

Would it be possible to have direct notifications in splunk mobile app? My Splunk server is behind the proxy, no internet access to Google services allowed. The same with mobile devices. I am using Splunk in a manufacturing area and my goal is to show alerts on a smart watch on the production floor. Any ideas?

Hello,

The Splunk Mobile App does support direct notifications, even if your Splunk server is behind a proxy. It does require installation of the Splunk Add-on for Mobile Access.

Once you have installed the Splunk Add-on for Mobile Access, follow the notification configuration steps here: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/MobileAddon/2.3.0/Install/Configurenetwork

These steps do however require internet access in order to work. So unless you have any way of staying connected to the internet, you won't be able to receive notifications.
