How to get the time diffrence

I have 2 time A anb B is in HH:MM:SS format ..then how to get the difference of A and B in same format

You need to convert time to epoch format for calculation. You can use the below options;

Difference is duration format;
eval diff=tostring(round(strptime(A,"%H:%M:%S")-strptime(B,"%H:%M:%S")),"duration")

Difference in seconds;
eval diff=round(strptime(A,"%H:%M:%S")-strptime(B,"%H:%M:%S"))

I used diff=(B-A) and then diff=A-B nothing worked
