Couldn't trace alert send from splunk via postfix?

Is their any technique or script where i could test why i'm not receiving email from splunk on my linux machine with postfix enabled ?

You can manually test emails via the sendemail search command. I'd also look at using the app for Postfix from Splunkbase to pull in the Postfix logs to track what happens after Splunk sends the mail.
