I downloaded the app: https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/2890, built the dataset using my index. Anyone get this to work? It has many examples. It says: Showcase Welcome to the AI Toolkit Showcase. Watch and learn from interactive end-to-end examples using real datasets. Click on an example to pre-populate the Assistant with the sample dataset and its settings. Inspect the Search Processing Language as well as the underlying code of these examples to see how it all works. Anyone get this working with your data? I am trying to get out of the examples, or is there a better AI app to try. I have a data set with my info and a few 100 others but am unsure on how to get it to work. They are different things. As simple as that. Comparing "features" this way is like making a feature comparison between a roof of your house and a sofa. Sure, you can check whether you can sit on either of them, which one of them will shield you from the rain and which of them looks better in yellow. And you will get some feature matrix. But they are essentially completely different things and such comparison will be simply useless. If you don't understand what each of those does and how they differ call Splunk Sales team or your local Splunk Partner for a quick call, a demo or a trial run.

Hello @spamarea1 , If the server on which you are building the TA is not indexing locally, it will show 0 events only. If the server is acting as an indexer or is indexing locally, then only it'll show the events count. Hence, if you want to search the data, you'll have to log on to Search Head and search against the index to view the events. Let me know if you were still not able to understand the concept. Thanks for replying but no encryption. I used the modular frame of the python script that it gave me as a template.
