Let's dive into some of the key highlights: Enhanced Security & Streamlined Administration GDPR Compliance with Field Filters: Limit access to PII/PHI data to meet GDPR requirements. Improved Audit Log Format: A better, more structured audit log format, a top customer demand. Unified Identity Interface: Simplifies admin workflows, offering enhanced control and visibility over your Splunk and Observability environment, including Centralized RBAC. Splunk Secret Management: Admins can now limit clear text password exposure. Expanded Cloud Availability: Splunk Cloud Victoria is now available on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). OpenTelemetry & Secure Authentication: Benefit from expanded OpenTelemetry functionality and secure third-party app authentication via OAuth 2.0. Powerful Dashboard Studio Enhancements Custom Visualizations: Seamlessly use existing custom visualizations directly within Dashboard Studio. Observability Metrics & APM Workflows: Leverage metric-based charts and application service map views, and integrate Business Workflows from Splunk APM into your dashboards. Dynamic Panel Visibility: Specify conditions for panel visibility and expressions for token evaluation, making dashboards more interactive. AI Assistant for SPL (SAIA) in Search & Reporting We're excited to announce that the Splunk AI Assistant for SPL (SAIA) is now integrated directly into the Search & Reporting app! This powerful assistant helps users generate, explain, and translate SPL using natural language, significantly boosting your productivity and making SPL more accessible. You can see the AI Assistant for SPL has been integrated directly into the Search & Reporting app to be even more tightly integrated with existing workflows! The assistant can be launched by clicking on the SAIA icon in the top right corner. In this example, SAIA has helped the user write SPL to find what data is being collected in their environment.
