Depending on whether you want to do this directly in Splunk, and what modules you have installed in your Splunk Enterprise deployment, it may be practical to schedule a scripted input which sends a HTTP request to the download page, searches for the <span class="version">9.4.1</span> text, then extracts the value in the middle.
