Splunk DB Connect 2.3.1 installation:
Why am I unable to configure the add-on after following the deployment procedure for a distributed environment:

The add-on is installed, but when we hit the add-on to configure it, all I see is a blank page (though the assets are all there). We have worked with the 2.2 version of this add-on successfully, not sure what's different here.

We have different indexes with varied retention and volumes. We would like to be able to restrict some roles to search only some time range (like 6 hours for larger indexes and a few days for some other smaller indexes). We also would like to customize this by the role. Any thoughts / ideas.

I am trying to put up a welcome page for our Splunk Installation and I was able to clone the "Welcome Page" from the "Welcome Page Creator" app into the App that would be the users default. So this brings up the "welcome page" as soon as the user logs in. However I was trying to customize this page a little - especially the panel that points to the email of our Splunk Admins and so on. Even after converting to HTML source, the entire source is not visible and trying to figure out how to do this.
Appreciate any help from the community and ppl who done this before.
