I've tried this as well as I'm getting an error every time I try to open Splunk Enterprise on my laptop. It was working fine a few weeks ago (I'm using the free trial for a course, however i know it hasn't been 60 days as of yet), but has suddenly decided to stop working properly. I tried the proposed solution, however it said that it was unable to run on my PC. Nothing about my firewall settings has changed as far as I am aware, so I can't seem to think of anything else that would be doing this.
