hi everyone, we're very much aware of the spam problem, and i apologize for the disruption. we're in the middle of user acceptance testing to migrate to a newer version of the Answers platform so that we can have better tools to filter it--so you will see a change soon! the current platform does not allow us to filter very well at all. trust me, it is frustrating for us as well 🙂 there are a number of Answers users who have accumulated enough karma points to be able to suspend and block spam accounts, they have been doing a fantastic job in helping us manage this problem around the clock. thank you very much, spam hammers! thank you for your patience. ... this is appears to be a known issue in 6.1.1: "After upgrading to 6.1 or 6.1.1, real-time searches (per-result or rolling window) may stop triggering alerts for matching events after running for more than 1 hour.
