Splunk Product Guidance (SPG) is an application that augments your current Splunk Cloud deployment. SPG provides robust guidance and answers for numerous use cases and tasks within the product. SPG enables the ability to access Splunk Lantern knowledge base content inside the product. SPG is for all Splunk users regardless of their role and expertise level, looking for timely and contextually appropriate guidance to help answer their questions. This app must be installed in your Splunk Cloud environment using the In-Product App Browser on a non-premium search head only. For the On-prem environment, read this disclaimer - SPG is built and tested for Splunk Cloud customers. If On-prem customers want to take advantage of this feature, the deployment always needs internet access to communicate with the proxy for SPG to work as SPG is powered by a third-party service.
