I'm currently doing the training modules for core certified user. After every module there is a short quiz. After I complete the quiz it shows me my pass/ fail percentage but not which questions I got right or wrong. I would like to know which questions I got wrong and what the correct answer was.
Is that how Splunk has set up these modules? Or is it an error on my part?
It helps so much more if I could see which questions I got wrong or right. Anybody else having this problem?
Hi
Splunk training modules for the Core Certified User course are intentionally designed to show only your overall score on quizzes, not which specific questions you got right or wrong. This is standard behavior and not an error on your part. The quizzes are meant for self-assessment and to encourage review of the material rather than providing detailed feedback on individual questions.
You can often retake the quizzes as many times as you like to reinforce your understanding, but you will not be shown which specific answers were incorrect.

Hi there,
Thank you for your response. I'd like to respectfully suggest that the quiz results should indicate which questions were correct at a minimum, and preferably provide a link for review for incorrect questions. If someone is brand new to the content, it's discouraging to get a score of 38%, meaning you missed most of the questions, and not know which ones and therefore which content to review and reinforce understanding. The format of the course also does not lend itself to switching back and forth from the quiz to the content for quick reassessment, and a passing grade of 75% is required to formally complete the course.
Thanks for your time.
