Hi All,

Does anyone have any idea on how to reset Lab module server password? I am currently undergoing Splunk advanced training and forgot the username password for las server, unable to complete the lab module. Appreciate any help. Thank you.

For eLearning with labs course you should access the labs from your learning dashboard by clicking the certain course at https://education.splunk.com/user/learning/enrollments

Then you can launch the labs from the lab module tab where you will find URL, user name and password.

Thank you Tom for your response.

I am accessing the URL from the module itself, so it should be correct. It is a self learning module , not sure if there are any instructors I can reach out to.

Main issue is I forgot my user password which was set first time when I was doing my first lab module. Between the last and current module lab work, it took some time for me to read through the theory and therefore forgotten user/pwd.

I have sent an email to support, hopefully will get a response soon. if you know any other faster way to get this working, you will be a savior.

Thank you.

Whoops! I understand.

Given that it's a self-learning module I think that you've done the right thing. Just make sure that you read over the documentation and any email correspondence, looking for any contact details i.e. who would you have reached out to if the lab wasn't online in the first place?

Nothing more I can do to help I'm afraid. Good luck!

Make sure you're using the right URL and credentials as per the documents provided by your instructor.

If you still can't access the Splunk instance, you should reach out to your instructor ASAP to help you. There isn't a way for anyone on here to reset lab credentials AFAIK.
