timechart and verbose mode

Why does when we run timechart, search mode changes to verbose? I ran this with smart mode and suddenly see it in verbose mode

@palisetty this behavior seems odd. Search mode should not change while the search is being executed. So can you
1. Provide your Splunk version
2. SPL query you are trying to run
3. Time Range selected
4. Screenshots for Search execution where search mode changes from Smart to Verbose.

You can use image sharing site like imgur to upload the screenshot and share the link here for the community to assist you better.
