splunk web interface not opening from remote server

I am not able to open the splunk web interface from the remote server. How to figure a=out the firewall problem and as there is no problem in the web.conf and server.conf file. Pleae help me out

Try http:// and https://, and try port 8000

if this works locally, and not remotely this is likely firewall issue.
