splunk admin system admin - lab is closed same day??

Hi
I was participating today to system admin course and found out at the end of the course the lab will be active only 3,4 hours after end wtf??
And then I get to knoww from another person that actually I am not able to go to exam if the labs are not finished.

I think really to pay so much money and get that service is totally unacceptable.

What is your experience ?

My experience is that it was no problem at all to complete the labs in the time given for it during the sessions. So with 4 hours extra after the end of the last session it should normally be plenty of time to complete the exercises, even when you're not so experienced going into the training.

How long are you expecting the labs to stay open?

1-2 days at least so you have time to go through labs and have some time to think what you are doing instead of 10 minutes per lab and thats it.

Instructors will typically leave it open for several hours after the last day upon request. There's more than enough time to complete the labs as @FrankVI suggested

well my case is maybe special.
I was having it difficulty to understand all content and decided to leave the labs for after the course so I can go by myself through the pdf and do every lab again. At the end of the course I got to know that the lab is closing in 3 hours and that I cannot go to exam if the labs are not finished. Right now I have problems with lab 6 and it is outside working time of my instructor. I cannot see why that stress after I have paid in my opinion that quite a lot amount of money and at end need to pay again.

You should have the solutions available, you can also ask on this board for help if your instructor is not available. You should email the instructor and have him/her extend the time of the lab

sys admin is a 2 day training, right?

So you have the exercise time slots provided for it during the first 4h session, then all the time between the 2 sessions, then again the time allotted to exercises during the second 4h session and then another extra 4h.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it is always nice to have longer access, to review the exercises again after the training closes, but to say you only have 10 min per exercise is a bit exaggerated in my opinion.
