need to calculate number of request in iis for each month.

I need to calculate number of request in iis for each month. I already stored the iis log in splunk.
i need to get the count for last 5 months need to compare.

Hi @nambir ,

Please use the below query and run the search for last 5 months.

index=<yourindex> | timechart span=1mon count by clientip

Hi,
Thanks for the response.
when i tried above query unfortunately it doesnt bring any result.

Query which i used till now:
host="PRODAPP1" sourcetype="iis"

Can you add on/append the query properly so it works for me.?
Whats the Index?

Hi @nambir ,

Please use the below query:

host="PRODAPP1" sourcetype="iis" | timechart span=1mon count by c-ip

where c-ip is the client ip address from where you are getting hits to the web server.

Run the above query for last 5 months.
