how to configure the section of a user on splunk ?

I would like to configure splunk like so:
When a user is inactive for 15 minutes, the session shoulds Origin Lock
thank.

i try this :

ui_inactivity_timeout=15
tools.sessions.timeout=15

in web.conf file. it is ok
thank.

but i replace ui_inactivity_timeout=60
with ui_inactivity_timeout=15

it no working.

Ahh....ui_inactivity_timout specifies interval when notification is sent. You also need to update tools.sessions.timeout in the same conf file. I misread the documentation.
