Receiving this error " The splunkd daemon cannot be reached by splunkweb. Check that were are no blocked network ports or that splunkd is still running.
This message usually means that either Splunk has crashed, or is restarting. You should check out your splunkd.log to see if there is an explanation. If you find something pointing to getwatchlist, please let me know.
