Hi @SplunkDash

To ingest data from DB Splunk recommends db-connect add-on UI to test DB connectivity and create db inputs which actually executes given query at defined frequency. Follow this link - Create and manage database inputs - Splunk Documentation to schedule a inputs using cron expression.

You can query the DB table/other objects using dbx-query, that can be scheduled (cron, other ways) as savedsearch this will not ingest data there are other use cases that cater to this approach. Refer - https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/3.5.1/DeployDBX/Commands
