XenServer error message 'str' object has no attribute 'xenapi'

Error message after executing pyton script: getMessage.py out bin directory.

Message in the var/log/TA-XS60-Server log file:
2013-02-13 00:23:48,785 - ERROR - ['Traceback (most recent call last):\n', ' File "C:\Program Files\SplunkUniversalForwarder\etc\apps\TA-XS60-Server\bin\getMessage.py", line 13, in \n messages = xsUtils.xsSession.xenapi.message.get_since(xmlrpclib.DateTime(time.gmtime(time.time()-300)))\n', "AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'xenapi'\n"]
2013-02-13 00:25:47,565 - ERROR - unsupported XML-RPC protocol

Splunkforwarder installed on a Windows2008R2-64bit with pyton 2.7.3 amd64 and some pyton files give the right output when started it manual within IDLE others like this one gives an error.

Check your xsconfig.conf and especially the URL for connecting to your master .. I had the same error and it went away after I fixed a typo.
