Why are special characters replaced with UTF-8 after exporting table to CSV?

Hi all,
When uploading a .csv file to Splunk, utf-8 is selected as the encoding type. Special characters look fine when viewed in Splunk search. However, when exporting tables to CSV, special characters are replaced by "’" and other UTF-8 characters.

Any help to fix this would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Can you please place here part of the original CSV file data with these non-ascii characters?
