Want to get the how many males and female for coverage_name

Dear All,

I have some insurance data and i want to see for which coverage_name how many people male have came and how many people male have come

i have two fields

  1. coverage_name
  2. gender

i want it like

coverage_name male female
xyz 20 40

How can i achive this

its normal txt file data with space separated

one event id here

Fisrt_Name=Rohn Last_Name=sinha DOB=1987/1/12 SSN=100002499 coverage_name=vision gender=Male broker=JADE no_of_lives=1

likewise there are 6 coverage_name so i want to find how many male and female for each coverage_name
