Splunk Search

Taking a table backup on day today basis

I have a transaction table where insert and update will be happen on every time.
I need to take a copy of the table on day today basis using splunk.
The purpose to to compare the datas on each day.
How can i achieve this .Can you explain me or guide through some tutorials.

Assuming your table is in an SQL database, you should be able to use the Splunk DB Connect app to extract data from the table. Set the input interval to '1d' and you'll have your daily copy.
