Is Splunk Universal Forwader 9.2.5 supports to Windows Server 2025 ? Pls confirm.

am seeing below in search community  but one of my colleague is installed  in Windows Server 2025.

Splunk Universal Forwarder 9.2.5 does not support Windows Server 2025. Splunk UF 9.2.x is not listed as supported for Windows Server 2025 - This doesnt necessarily mean that it wont work on Windows Server 2025, its more likely that it hasnt been tested by Splunk, as Splunk 9.2.0 was released in January 2024 and is no longer supported as of 31st Jan 2026.

As I said, it 'might work' but from a Splunk perspective there may be no formal support for it, and its actually out of support itself now anyway.

I would recommend looking at a higher version if possible.
