The search timeline is displaying improperly in the latest Chrome; it displays fine in latest Firefox and Safari. This is on a Mac if that makes a difference, using Splunk 6.2.
The 2 screenshots below show a comparison of the timeline with nothing selected, then the timeline in Chrome when the mouse hovers over the timeline.
Is this a known issued fixed in later versions of Splunk?
thx,
Chris

Your Chrome version is also relevant to this behavior. According to this thread, disabling "Accelerated 2D canvas" on the Mac appears to fix this issue.

Thanks much for the link -- surprising when I searched before posting I couldn't find that answer.
Unfortunately with the latest/greatest Chrome ( 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit) ) disabling the Accelerated 2D cnavas didn't resolve it. So I'll use one of the other workarounds from that answer.

Bummer. Okay, if none of them work, then UN-accept this answer and wait for more people to chime in.

You probably need to share what minor version of Splunk you are running. So what is the X in the version 6.2.X you are running?
