Splunk Search

Receiving search error by CLI error searching on remote host

I'm trying to search my remote Splunk instance as detailed here: https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.0/Admin/AccessandusetheCLIonaremoteserver , but I'm getting a weird error "Couldn't complete HTTP request: No error". I can't find anything online about what that means or other people having the same problem. I know for a fact that that IP/host is resolvable and correct. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix it?alt text
