Pulldown module outputs multiple result

Hi,

I want to use a Pulldown module globally like timepicker ( If we use timepicker , the entire dashboard gets refreshed and executes for that particular selected time , Likewise I want to have the same for Pulldown module , I would select one and it will effect the whole dashboard ) . Ex:- I have 2 dashboard panels in my dashboard and I want to select one or more option from pulldown list and it should effect both the panels . I can use Pulldown module for one dashboard panel,it is running fine but not for two or more.

Thanks in advance !!

Since you're referrring to the Pulldown as a module I'm assuming you're using AdvancedXML.

To affect two searches and their panels by a Pulldown you have to place both searches under the Pulldown in the XML tree, like this (simplified):

<module name="Pulldown" layoutPanel="panel_row1_col1">
  <module name="Search" layoutPanel="panel_row2_col1">
    <module name="Table" />
  </module>
  <module name="Search" layoutPanel="panel_row2_col2">
    <module name="Table" />
  </module>
</module>
