Process high memory usage

hello,
on my splunk i have about 50 dashboards with 10 panels for each one. Many times i see "process is waiting for data" or "the process is queued" or "waiting for data"..

lots of panels have the individual auto refresh timer enabled so i think that all this timers processes are using many resources of my virt.machine.

I usually use to display only 5 of those dashboard on my monitors.

What I'm asking for is if you know if NOT shown dashboards also use resources in backgroud or not.

if yes, i can disable all individual auto refresh timer and add to browser an app for auto refresh of the whole web-page.

thanks
