Nav menu problem ???

Hi .. i have created a APP in splunk .and i have change its nav menu as below..

Google

Now when i click on Google it is opening the google page .but that page is not opening on the new browser .. actually target=_blank its not opening on the new page...can you pls help ???

When you click on Google it is opening.. but it is not opening on the new browser? target=_blank? Could you try explaining again?
