I am trying to customize charts, from default numeric.Only documentation I found was one for older versions
http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/4.3.3/Developer/CustomChartingConfig-AxisGrid, but no support for the latest version.
Does anybody know why they removed it?
The information you are after may be here:

Also, try searching around on the Splunk Dev page http://dev.splunk.com/
@buraka chart configuration references do change over time. The documentation you are referring to is already too old and deprecated. What are you trying to achieve? Can you add a screen mock up o what you have and what you need?
@niketnilay https://answers.splunk.com/answers/327469/how-can-i-display-my-data-in-a-bubble-chart.html#comment-6... this is the exact use case i was referring to, i followed up the person who asked it,he also could not find any,is there any workaround to achieve the same
@buraka, can you sample few rows from table (along with field names) which you want to plot using Bubble Chart?
While I can not confirm, I dont think AxisGrid configurations are available beyond 6.2.
