Is it possible to make the data source used by the dashboard conditional on the dropdown choice?

I know with Splunk Dashboard Studio, conditional dashboard on dropdown choice aren't a possibility anymore, but is it possible to make the data source used by the dashboard conditional on the dropdown choice? That way, the dashboard could update dynamically.

Can you qualify this statement?  Does Splunk Cloud not allow you to edit dashboard source?  What exactly do you mean by "conditional dashboard"?  Do you mean conditionally showing or hiding an element (such as a panel) in dashboard?  You can always do this as long as you can edit dashboard source.

My bad, I edited the original post, I meant with Splunk Dashboard Studio and not Splunk Cloud (which supports JSON format source code and not XML).
