Hello Guys, We have to remove some of the fields permanently. Is there any configuration file or something to remove fields from backend ?

Note : We are not looking for "fields - " to remove the fields in search..

Hi @kiranpanchavat1,

fields are extracted using regexes, so you have to search in field extraction (Settings -- Fields -- Field Extractions] the relative rule.

Remember that pairs "fieldname=fieldvalue" are automaticaly extracted so you cannot delete them.

Why do you want to delete a field extraction?

if you have anot correct one, you can create a new one or correct the exisiting one, but I don't see the necessity to delete a field extraction.

Ciao.

Can you elaborate on your use case? Unless you remove something from raw data, the user can still define his/her own extraction.
