How to remove a specific part of a string

My event returns the following:

1@test.com/test/2_0" xmlns:d4p1="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <eb:Description xml:lang="en">test document ref 000000000000.rtf

but I want to strip the following string and replace with a colon space

@test.com/test/2_0" xmlns:d4p1="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <eb:Description xml:lang="en">

Ideal Result

1: test document ref 000000000000.rtf

Is there a way of doing this?

excellent, thank you.  I had just figured it out but I also added field=attachmentName to create a fieldName.

| rex mode=sed field=attachmentName "s/\@test.com\/test\/2\_0\" xmlns:d4p1=\"http:\/\/www\.w3\.org\/1999\/xlink\"> <eb:Description xml:lang=\"en\">/: /g"
