How to pass Appname in query ?

Hi, can appname be passed in the query ? I have 2 different app names in splunk and need to pass them in queries

Appname = aos
environment=ps sourcetype = asp ...

Appname=ct
environment=ct sourcetype = asp ...

[mydog8it]

Please provide sample data
