How to customize the width of the columns in a column chart in advanced XML?

Hello,

I have column chart in advanced XML and wish to set the size of the columns. I have found a number of answers that indicate the following should be used:

<param name="charting.chart.columnStyle.width">5</param>
<param name="chart">column</param>

No matter what value I assign for the column width, it has no impact on the chart. Does anyone have any tips on doing this correctly?

musskopf- Thank you for the link. I have looked it over and it appears to be for a different issue. In my case I have a single panel that contains a bar chart in my dashboard. In my bar chart I need to modify the width of the individual 'bars' and not the width of the panel.
