Hi All,

I have a requirement to add new members to the existing SH Cluster.

I have gone through the below link where it explains about adding member to the SHC.

Add a cluster member - Splunk Documentation

How do I Integrate it with the CM/Indexers? Do I need to do it after the above one? Is there any link?

Once the new member is added to the cluster it will get its configs from the SHC Deployer and get updates from the Captain.  Those configs should include CM/peer info so no additional steps are needed.

Hi

I'm not sure what is current situation, but if @richgalloway 's instructions is not enough. Then you must add manager node to this member directly. I recall that at least earlier (7.x) there was some server.conf (?) parameter which need to enabled for replicating CM information over all SHC members, but I could remember wrongly and couldn't find that information from docs now.

Here is link for what is needed on SHC member to add CM to it Integrate with a single-site indexer cluster with multisite you found later inside that doc.
