How do I bind values from different indexes with different fields?

Good day sirs!

I have two different indexes with different fields but same value-ish.

index=a: MTH=SEPTEMBER
index=b: month=9

My dear good sirs, is it possible to bind them? Please enlighten me with this one. Thank you very much!

Another alternative is to use a rename and join

index=a |rename MTH as month | join month [search index=b]

try with append , appendcols or appendpipe
