How do I apply $ symbol for Y-axis values in Splunk column Chart?

In the dashboard visualization, we are trying to add $ symbol to y-axis values.

$ symbol visible in table format only not in charts

like below example:-

 <table>
        <search>
          <query>
            | inputlookup splunk-stock.csv
            | fields date, volume
          </query>
          <earliest>0</earliest>
          <latest></latest>
        </search>
        <option name="drilldown">cell</option>
        <format type="number" field="volume">
          <option name="precision">0</option>
          <option name="unit">$</option>
          <option name="unitPosition">before</option>
          <option name="useThousandSeparators">true</option>
        </format>
      </table>
