Hi
I created a chart panel in a dashboard. The panel is based on an sql query. Everytime i click on the chart it self, splunk opens another search. How can i disable that?!

If you're editing the panel in the UI, in Edit mode, on the panel, you can click the formatting menu and change Drilldown from "Yes" to "No". (Reference image below, there is a similar menu for ad-hoc searches and visualizations as well). If you're editing XML, you can set the charting.drilldown option to none. (Splunk answers is not letting me nicely put the XML fragment >_<)

This feature is called drilldown and for most visualizations you can turn it of by editing and selecting No for drilldown on the General settings tab.

hi @acharlieh

Am using Splunk App for jenkins (v2.0.2) and i dont see the option to run the searches from the charts which i would like to have it. As those panles are using html and JS i dont even see the option to EDIT the panels. Is there a way that i can add the EDIT Button to those views?

Thanks,
Devon
