How can I write a splunk custom command in C++?

Hi, I have the need to write the splunk custom commands, but the performance of command written in python code is not satisfactory.
Then I read this article: http://info.prelert.com/blog/not-as-bad-as-it-could-be
I think I can try to write in C++, but I can't find more information about this on the Internet.

So if anyone can answer my question, thanks a lot.

I think you might be interested at looking at the different SDK's Splunk has to offer. C# would probably be the closest to what you are looking for: http://dev.splunk.com/view/csharp-sdk/SP-CAAAEPK
