Hot folder does not index some files

Good morning everyone

I'm having trouble crawling multiple files at once. Today I copied 100 files and placed them in my hotfolder, however only 98 files were indexed in Splunk. After identifying which files were deleted and pasted again and were indexed normally. Some help ?

Hi gabrielgarciia,
are you sure that files are different?
if you indexed a file and then you try to index a copy of it with different name, you cannot!
Try using in your inputs.conf stanza the option crcSalt = <SOURCE>.
Bye.

The files have different name and content as well. I am already using the crcSalt = parameter. The problem occurs with several files copied at once, if the copy to the hotfolder is done with few files I have no problems in indexing.
