Extract Splunk Query String in URL - Splunk Community

Splunk Search

Is there a way to extract the Splunk search query from the URL and send it to another software? We want to send the search query to software that would allow users to edit their data, and passing the search query would mean the user could go right from Splunk to editing data that they are seeing instantly.
